Liverpool are closing in on the signing of Bradley Barcola from Paris St-Germain for a fee expected to be in excess of £100m. Sources indicate that talks have progressed significantly over the past 48 hours and a full agreement is near.
PSG initially valued the 23-year-old France forward at £140m, but the total financial package is expected to come in below that figure. The final details remain to be settled, with the deal worth a minimum of £100m plus add-ons.
Barcola, who featured in France's World Cup squad this summer, has emerged as Liverpool's primary target to bolster their attack. Although primarily a left winger, he is right-footed and capable of playing on the right flank or centrally.
He joined PSG from Lyon in 2023 for a reported £38.5m. During his time in Paris, he has claimed three Ligue 1 titles, two Champions Leagues, two French Cups, the UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup.
