Is Saka getting back to his best at Arsenal?

Bukayo Saka recorded 11 goals and nine assists across all competitions for Arsenal last season. The 24-year-old winger faced a challenging period after picking up an Achilles injury in March, which caused him to miss several games before returning to help the Gunners secure the Premier League title.

During the World Cup, England manager Thomas Tuchel carefully managed Saka's playing time. Although he was not fully fit, Saka admitted that playing through the issue was a risk he was willing to take for his country, eventually scoring three goals and providing three assists during the tournament.

A much-needed rest and intensive training after the World Cup have allowed Saka to begin the current campaign in top shape. He delivered a stellar performance against Coventry, scoring the second goal in a comfortable 3-0 victory and proving a constant threat on the right wing.

Reflecting on his return to form, Saka explained that he took only a short break before resuming training to ensure he was ready for the new season. His dedication and physical readiness have provided a major boost to Arsenal as they aim to defend their crown.
