Barcelona have officially reported Paris St-Germain to UEFA following a controversial tifo displayed by PSG supporters prior to Tuesday's Champions League fixture.
The banner at the Parc des Princes featured a masked figure in a PSG shirt destroying the Barcelona badge with a chainsaw, accompanied by the French phrase massacre, Parisian style.
Barca strongly condemned the imagery, stating that it conveyed a message inciting violence and hatred in sport and violated core values of respect and fair play.
The match ended in a 4-2 defeat for Barcelona in the French capital, while UEFA regulations stipulate that provocative messages unsuited for sports events can lead to disciplinary fines.
