Manchester City have won their first seven Premier League games of the season, but their 100% record faces a tough test on Saturday away against an improving Aston Villa side.
BBC Sport football expert Chris Sutton noted that Villa have beaten City in this fixture in each of the past three years under Unai Emery and are currently seven matches unbeaten in all competitions.
For week eight, Sutton is making his predictions against Waffle the Wonder Dog and his owner Simon, who is played by actor James Merry from CBeebies' Waffle's After School Club.
Waffle, a talking poodle who supports Liverpool and joked about his favourite position being right-back on the sofa, shared his football enthusiasm with BBC Sport.
Meanwhile, James Merry revealed his lifelong connection to Aston Villa, having grown up nearby and even worked in the catering department at Villa Park during his youth.
