England and Nottingham Forest attacking midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White has been ordered to pay £1,000 in court fines and costs after his Range Rover was caught running a red light in West Bridgford.
According to court documents, the 26-year-old's vehicle passed through the traffic lights 1.1 seconds after they turned red, and the player subsequently failed to respond to two police letters asking him to confirm who was driving.
Police investigations into the traffic incident also revealed that the vehicle's number plate registered with the DVLA differed by one letter from the plate displayed on the car.
At Southern Derbyshire Magistrates' Court, Gibbs-White was convicted under the fast-track Single Justice Procedure, receiving a £660 fine, six penalty points on his licence, £120 in costs, and a £264 victim surcharge.
