Minteh can still get dream move, says Brighton boss Hurzeler

Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler has stated that Yankuba Minteh can still fulfil his dream transfer in the future, despite the club turning down multiple offers from Liverpool during the transfer window.

The Reds had bids of £50m and £60m rejected for the 22-year-old winger, with Brighton seeking closer to £70m for the Gambia international who joined from Newcastle for £30m in 2024.

Hurzeler emphasized that Minteh remains fully committed to Brighton and wears the club's colours proudly, noting that individual success follows team achievements.

Meanwhile, Brighton raised significant funds through player sales, including Carlos Baleba's £70m move to Manchester United, and completed a deadline-day signing of Spanish midfielder Chema Andres from Stuttgart for £15.5m.
