Leeds United centre-back Joe Rodon will be out of action for between eight and 10 weeks due to a serious hamstring injury.
The 28-year-old Wales international was forced off in the 34th minute during his side's 1-1 Premier League draw against Brentford last Sunday.
Manager Daniel Farke described the injury as a big blow, noting that Rodon is a key player and that the situation might force them to react during the January transfer window.
Rodon's absence is also a significant setback for the Wales national team ahead of their upcoming UEFA Nations League matches in September and October.
