Iliman Ndiaye completes £65m transfer to Manchester City from Everton

Iliman Ndiaye has officially completed his move to Manchester City from Everton for a fee of £60m plus £5m in add-ons. The 26-year-old Senegal international has put pen to paper on a five-year deal at the Etihad Stadium.

The transfer comes after a dramatic deadline day where a potential move to Tottenham collapsed because Richarlison failed to agree personal terms with Everton. Ndiaye had also held discussions with Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal earlier in the summer.

Ndiaye's journey to the top has been remarkably unconventional, having played in the seventh tier of English football just over six years ago. After trials with Sheffield United and a loan spell at Hyde United, he gradually worked his way up through the professional ranks.

Following a spell with Marseille and a successful stint at Everton where he scored 15 goals in 67 Premier League games, Ndiaye is now ready for a new chapter. He expressed his lifelong dream of playing for a club competing for the biggest prizes.
