Maguire backs hungry Marcus Rashford to be a key asset for Manchester United

Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has expressed strong confidence that Marcus Rashford will play a major role for the club following his return.

The 28-year-old recently made his first Premier League start for United in 21 months during a 5-2 victory over Ipswich at Old Trafford, proving to be a constant attacking threat.

After falling out with former boss Ruben Amorim and spending time on loan at Aston Villa and Barcelona, Rashford is now certain to remain at his boyhood club as the transfer window closes.

Maguire praised the forward's talent and attitude, stating that if he remains driven and fit, he will be a tremendous asset, while manager Michael Carrick has likened his return to signing a brand new player.
