Fiorentina are currently in talks with Manchester United over a potential loan move for forward Joshua Zirkzee. The Netherlands international is allowed to leave Old Trafford this summer and has drawn interest from multiple clubs across Europe.
The ongoing discussions focus on a loan deal until the end of the season that includes an option to make the transfer permanent next summer. Zirkzee, who still has three years remaining on his contract, is open to a return to Serie A.
While a final agreement is not yet imminent, there is growing optimism that a deal can be successfully concluded before the transfer deadline on 1 September.
Zirkzee joined Manchester United from Bologna in 2024 for £36.5m. Despite scoring on his debut against Fulham, he has struggled for regular playing time, making only 27 starts in 75 appearances across two seasons and scoring nine goals in all competitions.
