West Bromwich Albion head coach James Morrison has stated that he will make changes to his team for their EFL Cup tie at Newcastle United on Wednesday. Morrison leads his team to Tyneside following successive wins, hoping to cause an upset against Premier League opposition.
The Baggies will travel without senior pair Aune Heggebo, who is suspended, and the injured Mikey Johnston. The alterations to the starting line-up are also made with Saturday's Championship fixture against Middlesbrough in mind.
Because the team plays two matches in the north east within 60 hours, they will remain in the region for four nights. Morrison believes staying up is the best way to prepare properly, train at various venues, and integrate new players.
