Aston Villa complete £47m Mbaye signing and add Harwood-Bellis

Aston Villa have completed the signings of Senegal winger Ibrahim Mbaye from Paris St-Germain and English centre-back Taylor Harwood-Bellis from Southampton. Mbaye arrives for a fee of 55m euros (£47m), while Villa could pay up to £29m for Harwood-Bellis following an initial £25m fee.

Mbaye, 18, scored three goals and provided two assists in 31 games last season as PSG won Ligue 1 and the Champions League. He also represented Senegal at the 2026 World Cup, becoming the youngest African player to score at a men's World Cup during a match against France.

Taylor Harwood-Bellis joins to replace Ezri Konsa, who made a £55m move to Premier League champions Arsenal. Villa have experienced several key departures this summer, including Morgan Rogers to Chelsea and Ollie Watkins to Al-Hilal.

Both Mbaye and Harwood-Bellis could make their Villa debuts against Hull on Saturday.
