Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta enters elite 250-game club

Arteta has become only the second person in Premier League history to both play and manage at least 250 games in the competition, joining Mark Hughes.

Monday's victory over Aston Villa marked Arteta's 250th top-flight match at the helm of Arsenal, making him the 10th manager to reach 250 games with a single Premier League club.

The Spanish manager also boasts the fourth-best win percentage among those bosses, trailing only Pep Guardiola, Sir Alex Ferguson, and Jurgen Klopp.

Under Arteta, Arsenal has built a reputation for defensive excellence and intense work rate, securing a strong platform to challenge for another title.
