Tottenham head coach Roberto de Zerbi confirmed that Richarlison, Kevin Danso and Pape Matar Sarr have expressed a desire to depart from the club. None of the three players were included in the matchday squad for the 2-0 home defeat against Newcastle on Saturday.
De Zerbi stated that while relationships remain good, any player wishing to leave must bring a suitable economic solution to the club. Spurs have spent over £300m this summer following successive struggles, but currently sit at the bottom of the Premier League table after losing their opening two matches.
Richarlison finished as Tottenham's top scorer last season with 11 goals, but his future has become uncertain with the recent arrival of striker Omar Marmoush. Meanwhile, defensive and midfield arrivals have limited playing opportunities for both Danso and Sarr.
Sunderland previously had a loan bid rejected for Danso, whereas Juventus are reportedly confident of securing a loan deal for Sarr with a conditional obligation to buy. The Senegal international has also attracted interest from other English clubs and Turkish side Besiktas.
