Liverpool have reached an agreement worth an initial £106m with £17m in potential add-ons for Paris St-Germain forward Bradley Barcola. PSG had initially valued the France attacker at £145m before settling on the package.
The 23-year-old is expected to undergo a medical this weekend ahead of signing a long-term contract at Anfield. Barcola joined PSG from Lyon in 2023 for £38.5m and has won numerous trophies during his time in France.
His impending arrival casts uncertainty over Cody Gakpo's future at the club, with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City monitoring the Netherlands forward. Reds boss Andoni Iraola stated he cannot guarantee anything regarding Gakpo's future.
The fee for Barcola represents a record for a player leaving Ligue 1 and serves as a major boost to Liverpool's attack following previous departures and alongside recent signings like Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz.
