Gabriel Martinelli has 12 months remaining on his contract with Arsenal, and manager Mikel Arteta has made it clear that the forward is not part of his plans for the future.
Earlier this summer, Turkish side Galatasaray made a €45m bid for Martinelli, but the Brazilian international refused to consider a move to Istanbul.
It is understood that Al-Hilal are now in talks with Arsenal and are willing to exceed Galatasaray's previous financial offer.
Martinelli was omitted from the squad for Arsenal's opening Premier League match against Coventry, drawing criticism from former club striker Ian Wright.
